In May all Board Committees reviewed their goals and development projects for the 2020 / 2021 school year. At the May Board Retreat recommendations were made and new goals established for the 2021 / 2022 school year. These goals were then approved at the May Board meeting.
April 2021
Goal 2 - The Ranelagh campus was subject to a routine inspection by the Paris Ville's comité de sécurité . ISP passed the inspection and the inspection team was more than satisfied with the school's fire evacuation procedures.
Goal 2 - A timeline of adaptation to make the Ranelagh buildings more wheelchair accessible is being drafted for submission to the Ville de Paris.
March 2021
Goal 1 - The Facilities Committee, along with the Finance Committee, had a thorough discussion about the possible impact on student numbers by the COVID pandemic, with a view to determining next steps and counter measures where appropriate.
February 2021
Goal 2 - Facilities updates to ensure continued student and staff safety took place over the February holidays.
January 2021
In January the Board Committees reviewed the annual goals, project and progress as part of a mid-year review. The following developments and outcomes were recorded.
Goal 1 - This goal was completed last month, although the committee continues to keep reviewing the possibilities.
Goal 2 - The Facilities Committee continues to make student safety a priority and closely follows developments in this area.
Goal 3 - The Committee has been briefed on the IT Director's technology plan and is awaiting to see what the needs are as outlined by educational leaders.
December 2020
Goal 1 - The Facilities committee discussed different strategies but agreed that it was too soon to start discussions about changes to the current layout.
Goal 1 - The committee will continue to look at student numbers through the 2021-22 academic year should any such strategies need to be implemented.
Goal 2 - The committee was informed of a broken staircase in the Cortambert 'V' building , and measures are being taken to have it repaired as soon as possible to ensure accordance with safety and emergency standards and procedures.
November 2020
Goal 1 - The Facilities committee has added this discussion as an agenda item for the December meeting.
Goal 2 - Large scale renovations and facilities improvements are not planned this year, given the current climate.
Goal 3 - The IT Director presented to the Facilities committee regarding the evolution of the school's technology offerings over the last 10 years. The school's wireless network and classroom technology are adapted for maximising teaching and learning.
October 2020
Goal 1 - The Committee continues to review student numbers and opportunities to use the facilities more creatively, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Goal 2 - The issue of accessibility in the primary school has been added to the November agenda.
Goal 2 - Health and safety and the enforcement of sanitary protocols remain a priority through the month of October. The school was fully disinfected during the Toussaint break.
Goal 3 - The IT Director was invited to the November meeting to share his thoughts on how IT and facilities go hand in hand.
September 2020
Goal 1 - The Committee looked at student numbers to start the year, as well as the student pipeline figures.
