Memories & Thoughts from Today :)
Navigator’s Notes
Today we continued with our extended tour of Guam. We revisited the Gef Pa’go CHamoru Cultural Village and read the writing of University of Guam p4c student Valerie King. The CHamoru word "Gef Pa'go" means "beauty" and, Ms. King explains, is comprised of the words "very" and "now" (or "present"). Beauty = Very Now. Reflecting on this interesting idea, we drove on and once again visited with our friend Ranger Kina from War in the Pacific National Historical Park. Ranger Kina taught us about the history of Guam and about CHamoru culture. This inspired a p4c discussion about "Why do some people pretend to be something that they're not?" We ended the day by heading to the Zoom Zoom Ship, enjoying its many amazing rooms, and sailing towards the next stop on the VRT: Taiwan!
Uncle Toby makes a funny face and Sam screenshots it. Now, we have a amazing screenshot of Uncle Toby!
This is Sam's screenshot of Uncle Toby. If you look on the left picture, then to the bottom left corner, there is Uncle Toby's reaction. :)
