Poking and Pinching Peas

Materials Needed:

• clay

Directions:

• use only your fingertips to roll the clay into pea size balls

• lay them in a line or in the shape of a letter or a design

• use the index finer to poke the first one flat

• use your thumb and index finger to pinch the next one flat

• keep alternating poking and pinching the peas until they are all flat

Modifications:

• be sure to keep ring and pinky finger curled up in the palm of your hand as you work
