Flippers

Materials Needed:

  • plastic milk/juice container caps

  • can (optional)

Directions:

  • Objective is to see how far you can flip a milk top

  • make a fist with your hand and have your thumb tucked in

  • place a bottle top on the side of your index finger and thumb

  • flick your thumb out and see how far the top goes

  • try this ten times and see if you can make it go further

  • be sure to position the wrist so that the cap flies away from your body

Goal:

  • thumb isolation

Modifications:

  • to increase the difficulty try to flip the caps into a can
