Paper Clips on Lid

Materials Needed:

• margarine tub lids (3")

• paper clips (10)

Directions:

• hold your non-dominant hand up so all of your fingertips are in the air

• balance the lid on these fingers

• with your dominant hand, pick up the 10 paper clips one at a time, and storing them in the palm of your hand

• move one paper clip at a time to your fingertips and drop onto the lid

Modifications:

• switch role of dominant and non-dominant hand

• arms placed on table gives more stability, making the task easier

• arms hanging in space gives less stability, making the task harder
