Finger Soccer

Materials Needed:

• cotton ball

• construction paper with soccer field lines drawn lengthwise

Directions:

• object of the game is to shoot the cotton ball off the paper at the opponent's end

• two players lay on the floor, propped on elbows

• paper field should be placed between players

• one player shoots the cotton ball by flicking it with an index finger

• second student tries to catch the cotton ball when it crosses the middle line

• if he does not catch it, first student flicks the cotton ball again

• switch to have next player flick

Modifications:

• be sure the last three fingers are curled into the palm

• can substitute micro machine cars for the cotton ball (they move faster)
