Aspectos filosóficos na física: Do Determinismo à Incerteza segundo Werner Heisenberg

Resumo
O intuito deste artigo é analisar a interpretação conceitual do físico Werner Karl Heisenberg sobre o problema da objetividade dos fenômenos quânticos, em relação ao problema metafísico da filosofia grega de investigar os menores constituintes da natureza. Para Heisenberg, a ontologia da ciência moderna, fundamentada no materialismo e no determinismo, já não é totalmente válida na nova física atômica. Consequentemente, torna-se necessário construir uma nova base ontológica, na qual o antirrealismo, apoiado em um formalismo puro, surge como princípio essencial de uma nova filosofia natural. Este trabalho tem como objetivo descrever a abordagem da tradição filosófica e da história da ciência de Heisenberg dentro da teoria quântica.
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to analyze the conceptual interpretation of physicist Werner Karl Heisenberg regarding the problem of the objectivity of quantum phenomena, in relation to the metaphysical problem of Greek philosophy in investigating the smallest constituents of nature. For Heisenberg, the ontology of modern science, grounded in materialism and determinism, is no longer entirely valid within the new atomic physics. Consequently, it becomes necessary to construct a new ontological basis, in which antirealism, supported by pure formalism, emerges as an essential principle of a new natural philosophy. This work aims to describe Heisenberg’s approach to the philosophical tradition and the history of science within the framework of quantum theory.
