Sanctioned to attack
Sanctioned so as to push back
Nothing fair in war

The blink of an eye
Black smoke rising from rubble
No way home tonight

The ongoing fighter
Even if the past fades with the time,
The human being has created a way of conserving it through history.
In the same way history is related to the past,
But still present in our everyday lives,
War also appears to be an ongoing fighter:
Never resting, never stopping;
Unstoppable and reckless,
War is full of hatred and pain.
It is our past and present
And our impatient enemy,
Independently appearing along the timeline.

Disappointment
The world right now is not my home,
it’s not the place I want to grow.
Sadness, death, lies
and blood on innocent hands.
Why take away lives of people, who cannot even talk
or the ones in the hospitals not being able to walk.
Do you even think what you’re doing?
Or are you just sitting in your villa,
waiting for the cemetery to fill up?
They say make love not war,
but you are still hungry for more.
Don’t you ever have enough,
or for you, the Ukrainian people are just stuff?
When I open the news I often cry.
And lie.
Lie to myself,
that everything is fine.
I am helpless.
Useless.
But you still don’t give a dime.
