"The beauty in a Man's world"
Living in a world created for a man affects the life of all women. This exhibition is centered around the theme of a woman's life while living in a man's world. As the title suggests “The beauty in a Man’s world”, The beauty refers to the female figures in society. The Structure of the exhibition contributes to the understanding of what a female's life looks like. The exhibition opens up with a sculpture made out of natural materials to show that humans have their roots in the natural world, the colorful sculpture continues in the way life would evolve. The colors illustrate the identity that humans develop through events and emotions experienced throughout their lifetime. The exhibition comes to a turning point with the broken glass dress sculpture. The darkest object in the exhibition illustrates the lowest point in a lifetime, usually connected to sickness and death.

"Human Body"
The concept I explore in my exhibition is the human body, and appreciating our bodies for more than how they look. Most of our lives surround themselves around longing to look a certain way, often people focus on what they dislike about their body instead of appreciating what it is able to do. My exhibition focuses on the beauty of the human body, in a way that celebrates the real and raw details like wrinkles, which are often seen as a negative thing to dread. Instead, looking at them like signs of having lived and become wiser and more experienced.
The two materials used were clay and acrylic paint. Two of my works are clay sculptures, and clay as material is significant to the meaning, as clay connects to the earth and connects nature to the human body. Additionally, working with clay involves working primarily with your own hands, which also makes the material more meaningful. The two other works are paintings on canvases, and are both portraits of parts of the body, appreciating details of the human body.

"Alone; A truth I have felt since always"
My exhibition is about my personal relationship with loneliness. I have always felt alone since I could remember, but throughout my life it has disappeared or camouflaged itself in some periods, and came back to haunt me in others. Moving all my life has made me feel as though being alone was a constant, leaving me with memories full of nostalgia. My memories and the nostalgia around them are the root cause of me feeling alone, because of all the people, places and items I have left behind in the past. There are some things that have grounded me in these moments however, like music, being in nature and my family. My life has been full of change, which has ignited my loneliness, but as I have grown older I've learned to accept it as a part of life.

"Metamorphosis in the human body and its emotions"
Metamorphosis has different connotations. It may refer to changes in physiological envelopes such as in the biological process or to a shape-shifting in a more artistic context. Ever since my first encounter with the Latona Fountain in the gardens of Versailles, metamorphosis as the transition from one animal to another has resonated with me. The idea that one organism may undergo a change from one shape to another also portrays the incredibility of metamorphosis.
Furthermore, the human body has also been a great interest in my works as there is no rawer representation of vulnerability. In addition, the human body itself can communicate much more than words could. As emotions have been indescribable phenomena to me, communicating through my body has been essential in order to attempt describing and accepting these unusual feelings and emotions. Therefore, by combining metamorphosis, the human body and its emotions, several pieces were born from an attempt to say what I have never said before

"ÆON"
Since really young culture that was expressed all around me would teach about the importance of freedom of expression, the beauty of arts and how this is connected to me. I grew up surrounded by other different cultures and people around the world but always finding so fascinating street art would change shape and meaning differently for all of them. In this arts exhibition I explored themes such as identity,
culture, urbanization and free expression. I learned during the process how to smoothly introduce this concepts to a cultural collision between fashion design and street art graffiti
For my ARTS EXHIBITION, I decided to simulate the creation of my own fashion design brand. ÆON is my own idea of a fun, interactive, innovating and multicultural urban brand that illustrates and represents me and my style as an artist. This brand concept aims to play with the interaction between graffiti, street-art and subcultures. Mixing up different styles and fashion technics with different cultural approaches, colors, backgrounds. The idea is to express personality through my pieces and aim a focus on what I am connected and interested in. However, I decided to make one of my pieces interactive to the public, so we could all experience this concept of artistic community and fashion brand design.

"My 13-year old self drags behind me like a corpse"
"My 13-year-old Self Drags Behind Me Like a Corpse" is an intimate exploration of the complexities embedded within a mother-daughter relationship, as well as a personal journey of self-discovery and healing. The title is in reference to becoming a teenager and the person I was then. The works explore the profound impact of emotional abuse, narcissistic parenting, and the shadows of depression on the journey towards self-acceptance. All works featured were made with the intent of being shown in this exhibition, each one represents a different part of my personal journey. The works are split into three sections, “My vulnerability has teeth” sits in the middle, this work specifically represents the most difficult phase of my life. Through different mediums I aim to show viewers the intricate emotional landscape of familial bonds, mental-health struggles, and personal growth.

"Existential Anxiety:
Descending into the Abyss of Uncertainty"
Existential Anxiety – a state of mind characterized by a profound sense of disorientation, alienation and dread amidst the uncertainties of life and existence – is the concept I explore in my experimental exhibition. Especially in the last few years, existential questions have often found their way into my brain, and occasionally led me to a feeling of complete detachment from reality. I enjoy the idea of art as a genuine exploration of one’s own mental landscape, presented to others in a way that does not always require words. So, despite not being the most outward person when it comes to the ongoings of my mind, I decided to embrace the time I spend inside my own head, and allowed myself to use the feeling of being stuck in a world I don't understand as creative fuel for a personal exhibition. The ideas explored in the literature of Albert Camus and the films of David Lynch, are also worth mentioning as sources of inspiration.

Annie Keskinen
“The naked truth”

"How do I look?"
Tankebubblan: "I need to be prettier than yesterday."
