Dear Woolworths

At Swansea Public School kids are making huge piles of compost. We believe that the money that you will give us, will get us chickens to eat the compost. And for the chickens we will build a chicken coop out of wood and wire or mesh. And we will put the walls deep into the ground, to make sure foxes and dogs won't get in.

Chickens are most useful creatures we can get for our kitchen garden program. Did you know that chickens can eat 1kg of food a day? We can use poo as fertilizer. And we might be able to buy a frog pond because we don't want frogs to dry out in the sun. we just might be able to get some trees to plant for all the birds.

This is why we need the grant money to benefit our school and our community
