Letter 13

Dear Mr Pat Conroy,

In my opinion, I strongly disagree that we need a nuclear power station. It will be extremely terrible for our lakes and seas. The energy that we get from this station will be DISGUSTING.

I don’t like this idea. Lake Macquarie is going to be filthy place if the nuclear power plant goes ahead. In Japan there was a tsunami and there nuclear power plant split and contaminated there seas.They can not eat rice, fish and anything from the sea.

The power station will not be affordable for big families or split up parents who can’t go to work because they have kids who can't go to school. Just think some people like the idea of having a nuclear power station, but don’t realise that it will destroy our country.We need to think smartly and creative about our energy and we could use solar panels or even wind mills, they can change our energy bills. It is possible, I know it is! One step can change EVERYTHING!!!
