Letter 3

Dear Mr Pat Conroy MP

Everybody is talking about a new nuclear energy power station. If we get a new power station it could cause many things such as Lake Macquarie turning into a filthy landmark, people who work in the coal mines could lose their jobs and if people want to sell their house i don’t think they will get much money for it. All of these things could lead to all kind of stuff.Even the sentence you said(“The power station is going to leak or fall over and KILL ALL OF US!)It could all be true.

If we do get a nuclear energy station nobody would know what kind of problem Lake Macquarie could turn into.This could cause people not want to buy in Lake Macquarie and not many people would want to live here.This could really mess with the environment it could cause animals to die and much more. I would be terrified if you put a nuclear power station in my town,In my backyard. For alternative solution we could use solar panels,solar panels are a green,clean and renewable energy that could not hurt or harm our environment.
