APPROACH
Theoretical/project based

This course's purpose is to provide the students with deep knowledge of the production and distribution context of contemporary cinema, including series, as well as with the required design competencies for their professional field. The course covers topics such as production costs and financing of audiovisual projects (live action and documentaries), cinematographic audiovisual production and industry, as well as accessing festivals, distribution, cinema and trans-media.

This teaching is made of a single module of 4 CFA = 4 ECTS

Successful students will be able to:

Develop knowledge and understanding of professional languages, processes and methods of multimedia production, and their use to self-sufficiently develop projects.

• Budgeting and financing

• Festivals and distribution

• Financing audiovisual projects

• Production costs

This is a theoretical/project based course.

Over the course, the students will carry out the following didactic activities, which may vary depending on the themes that will be developed. 

• Front lectures

• Use of tutorials, videos or other media tools

• Exercises and revisions

• Workshops

• Individual or group projects

• Individual study or research

Assessment criteria may include:

• Creation of complete interactive projects

• Graded exercises with a final oral exam
