Theoretical
This course offers the students an introduction to the sociology of communications as applied to new media, going over the main historic-evolutional phases of the digital revolution. The main phenomena linked to old and new media will be analysed: cinema, series, gaming and social media (Tik Tok, Instagram and Twitch). One of the course's main goals is to question the "media debate", and to unveil its rhetoric as well as ideological structures, leading the students into analysing the elements that make its technical and cultural complex.
This teaching is made of a single module of 4 CFA.

Influence of 2.0 media on the artistic production
Perspectives of 3.0 media
This is a theoretical course.
