APPROACH
Theoretical/project based
The course focuses on the introduction to the world of compositing and the understanding of the key elements of post-production. The program includes a complete overview of all the theoretical and technical tools such as lighting, shooting for VFX, colour correction and postproduction in compositing.
The course covers the theoretical-practical basics of video digital production. The goal is for the students to reach awareness and maturity in identifying suitable technical solutions for a movie set.
Successful students will be able to understand all the phases of correct lighting, colour correction and colour grading.
The total credits for this course are 6, divided as follows:
DIRECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHY 2: 3 CFA = 3 ECTS
COLOR CORRECTION: 3 CFA = 3 ECTS
Successful students will be able to:
Develop skills that support a critical approach to images
Develop original and complex solutions to wittingly recount and document reality.
Manage professional light set-up
Work on colour correction and post-production
Use an effective post-production project methodology
DIRECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHY 2:

This is a theoretical/project based course.
During the course, the students will carry out the following didactic activities, which may vary depending on the projects that will be developed:
Front lectures
Use of tutorials, videos or other media tools
Exercises and revisions

Assessment criteria may include:
Graded exercises
Writing a paper
Oral exam
