Theoretical/project based
This course aims at providing theoretical and practical knowledge to achieve professional competencies in devising and carrying out audio-visual projects, through personal research that leads the students to the development of personal poetics. The students, either individually or in teams, will create a short film with special attention to authorship and actors' direction. At the seminar on film analysis, the students will view, discuss and analyse contemporary cinematographic works that are significant to different forms of narration and style experimentation.
the total credits for this course are 8, divided as follows:
DIRECTION 2: 6 CFA = 6 ECTS
SEMINAR ON FILM ANALYSIS 2: 2 CFA = 2 ECTS
Successful students will be able to:

Devise and carry out an authorial audiovisual project
Convey personal ideas on a small film set
Coordinate a small production team
Present and defend personal artistic choices

Understand the link between theme and storytelling
Critically analyse a film in consideration of its historic context and influence on the next one

This is a theoretical/project based course.
During the course, the students will carry out the following didactic activities, which may vary depending on the projects that will be developed:

Assessment criteria may include:
Carrying out a project
Paper submission
