Theoretical/project based
Audio-visual products as a language for communication are the core of this course, where the students acquire knowledge and skills to create concepts for audio-visual projects as a support to brands, corporate, music artists, public bodies and institutions' communication. The main idea is to search for original, bold and consistent content to develop a conscious and responsible project culture; this will engage the artistic inclination of the students and enhance their potential. The goal is to transfer and widen their skill development to bring talents into the cultural, fashion and advertising industries. The students, working in teams, will be engaged in the production of short videos, integrated audiovisuals for digital use, and final video presentations to document and explain all the project phases.
The total credits for this course are 8, divided as follows:
ADVERTISING: 4 CFA = 4 ECTS
FASHION FILM: 4 CFA = 4 ECTS
Successful students will be able to:
Think of contemporaneity in artistic terms, starting from a conceptual-argumentative base.
Carry out a critical analysis of existing projects
Understand their position, role and function within a project
Convey their creativity to the most suitable media platforms
Identify a scope for artistic research and a suitable research method
Video advertising production
Fashion films production
Design of processes to mediate between different players involved
Presentation of an artistic project to an audience or client
This is a theoretical/project based course.
During the course, the students will carry out the following didactic activities, which may vary depending on the projects that will be developed:
Front lectures
Use of tutorials, videos or other media tools
Exercises and revisions
Workshops
Individual or group projects
Assessment criteria may include:
Graded exercises
Writing a paper
Oral exam

The final grade for this course will result from the weighted average of its modules.
