APPROACH
Theoretical/Project based
This course provides theoretical skills for the reading and composition analysis of static images, also giving crucial information on the use of the main compositing and digital animation software programs. In particular, the students will acquire video management and creation skills, to integrate graphic images. Another goal of this course is to provide concrete knowledge, as necessary when handling animation works, from the "frame by frame" thinking process to knowing the practical boundaries and long execution times. The didactic goal is to give the students methodological tools to build a design scheme around creativity and organisation, developing awareness of the final product's execution phases as well as an aptitude for group work.
The total credits for this course are 6, divided as follows:
BASIC ANIMATION: 3 CFA = 3 ECTS
CONCEPT ART: 3 CFA = 3 ECTS
Successful students will be able to:
Identify and use different expression techniques in basic animation
