It’s never too early for holiday joy
Is it too early to start decorating and getting ready for the holidays in November? I don’t think so.
Every year as we get closer and closer to the holiday season, I feel that I hear the same complaints and conversations. Is it too early to start decorating and getting ready for the holidays in November? I don’t think so.
I think that November is a perfect time to start getting ready for the holiday season. Now there are a couple reasons I think that it’s ok and even a good idea to start getting ready for the holidays in November. First off, if you get all of your decorating and planning out of the way super early, you can actually have a nice and relaxing holiday. I see way too many people stressing in December because they decided to do everything at the last minute and it tends to ruin the whole vibe of the happy holiday season.
Starting early also starts to build the holiday joy, and when you are in time like these, why would you not want as much joy as possible? Seeing all the people getting together, the lights, smelling all the food, it all makes me so happy.
The holiday season is also one of the best looking times of year. There are people who keep Christmas lights up year round just because they look so nice. There’s nothing quite like driving around at night looking at all the light on big fancy houses.
The events during the holiday season are super nice too. Whether it’s a beautiful winter ball, or a nice charity event, this time of year is full of these, and the sooner they start the more fun people can have, why try to stop it? This time of the year tends to be a lonely time of year for people, and starting to celebrate and getting together as a community can help combat that winter feeling of loneliness.
People are always complaining about how early people start getting ready for the holidays, and I just don’t get it. It really isn’t that bad, and at the end of the day, it’s not affecting anyone negatively, so why try to stop them?
