67 might just be the greatest joke ever. The reason why it’s so great is because it leaves an everlasting effect on the person that learns about the joke. It is indeed an overplayed joke but what joke in the big 2025 hasn’t been overplayed? 

Matter of fact, 67’s new identity is, it’s so unfunny it’s funny. 67 doesn’t have to be funny, as funniness is subjective but 67 has done irreparable damage to students, teachers especially math teachers, and it’s slowly infecting the newer and older generation. Once you learn about it, you can never escape it.

67 does have meaning. In fact, during Skrilla’s song it was slang for “6 feet under and 7 feet wide coffin” but nowadays has adopted the meaning of “so-so.” 

Is 67 funny? Yes, it’s a harmless saying that won’t get a standing ovation but in the classroom could get a few chuckles. If you have read this far, make sure to count each and every word this reading has.
