JP Inter-house Gala - 21 March
The Junior Primary Interhouse Gala was held last Friday, and what a spectacular day it was! Our children eagerly took to the pool, blessed with sunshine and perfect swimming conditions, showcasing their growing confidence and enthusiasm for the sport.
Our Grade 1, 2, and 3 boys and girls displayed determination and skill as they competed in Freestyle, Froggie, Backstroke, and Flutterby races. The energy was infectious, and the spirit of friendly competition shone through as they cheered each other on from the side of the pool.
Adding to the excitement were the fun races, which brought endless joy and laughter:
The Grade 1s took on the "Surf’s Up" race, riding their boards across the water with great enthusiasm.
The Grade 2s worked together in the "Keep the Fire Burning" challenge, keeping their 'flames' alive as they swam.
The Grade 3s delighted everyone with their "Hat Race", carefully making their way across the pool while ensuring their hats remained dry, resulting in much giggling and excitement!
The highlight of the day, however, was undoubtedly the Parents' Race, which had everyone on their feet! A huge round of applause to the brave moms and dads who took the plunge and added to the fun-filled atmosphere.
The event was a wonderful celebration, where participation, perseverance, and pure enjoyment took centre stage. Well done to all our little swimming champs for their fantastic efforts, and a heartfelt thank you to the teachers and parents who supported the event. We look forward to another exciting gala next year!
