SP Music Recital - 27 March
The SP Music recital was a remarkable event that highlighted the talents of our Grades 4-7 girls and boys. We express our thanks to the parents, teachers, supporting staff and the children who gathered for the support. The afternoon event was a celebration of musical talent, featuring a variety of performances from the Clifton Band, Clifton Choir, and individual soloists (Pianists, Guitarists, Drummers, and Violinists) displaying their instrumental skills.
The Clifton choir opened the recital with a stirring performance of ``Singabahambayo Tina``, followed by 'What About Us'. They then wrapped up their set with the vibrant and spirited two songs, ‘I will shine’ and 'Matakana', a celebration of cultural unity through song.
The Clifton Band also delivered two outstanding performances with the lively arrangements of 'Shape of You' and 'Girls like You'. The band members displayed remarkable cohesion, proving their dedication and passion for music.
The End-of-Term Music Recital was a true testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of Clifton’s young musicians. The event not only displayed their immense talent but also highlighted the power of music in bringing people together.
Clifton Senior Primary School’s music programme continues to flourish, promising even more spectacular performances in the future. Bravo to all the performers for a truly remarkable afternoon!
