Dear Parents,

We have enjoyed another busy and productive week. The Grade 7s returned from their excursion to Baynesfield with new understanding and experience of leadership, grit and teamwork, which were re-enforced at their Induction Assembly on Monday morning.

The boarders and interns had great fun building rafts at school and then entering the Glensheiling raft race on Sunday in aid of Love Notties.

We are all settling into the routines of the calendar and daily curriculum, the classes at the bell and sports. Our new little ones are growing in confidence as they settle into school, forming a happy throng in the Pre-School and Junior-Primary zone. Impromptu cricket matches remain a feature near the bell and children relax and read on the lawns before the bell summons boarders to supper.

The library has moved to Mr Quinn’s old classroom opposite the entrance to Usher (Boys') House and will soon be an attractive and relaxing space where children can learn to love reading.

Auditions have been held for the choir and we look forward to hearing many new joyful voices on campus.

Work on the Grade 5 classroom refurbishment project will begin soon and the new school shop is rapidly nearing completion.

We are looking forward to hosting Laddsworth for our first summer sport fixtures this weekend and I hope to see much fun, and a few personal bests too.
