Grade 6 - Termly Update

This term has been filled with exciting experiences and memorable moments for the Grade 6 children. One of the major highlights was their trip to All Out Adventures, where they bravely conquered the famous King Swing Bungee Jump. The boys and girls also partnered with the Grade 2 children for a Read Aloud Day, where they enjoyed reading stories to the younger grades and sharing snacks together.

In English, the children have been making the most of the warm weather by reading under the shade of the Maple Tree before the arrival of winter. In Natural Science, they had fun building rockets from plastic bottles and testing their heights using bicarb soda and vinegar. The term also included a fantastic Buddy Morning with the Grade 3 boys and girls, where they worked together in teams to complete challenges, including a thrilling Nature Hunt in Top Woods.

Towards the end of the term, the girls have started their hockey season and shown great skill and teamwork on the field, while the boys have kicked off their rugby season with a strong start. It’s been a wonderful and action-packed term for the Grade 6 Champs!
