Girls' Tennis
This term has been an exciting one for our girls' tennis teams. The enthusiasm and dedication shown on the courts have been truly commendable. Our U9 players have been working hard on their hand-eye coordination and footwork, showing noticeable improvement in both their confidence and technique.
The U11 squad had a fantastic season, with many players experiencing their first competitive matches. They have been learning to score, play doubles, and follow proper match etiquette, which will serve them well in future competitions. We were fortunate to have three teams participating in the U11 doubles league, and it has been wonderful to see their growth throughout the term.
In the Open age group, we entered four teams into the league, and our senior players have been refining their skills through focused development sessions. The commitment and competitive spirit among the girls have been outstanding, and we are thrilled with the enthusiasm shown by those working hard to climb the ladder rankings.
A huge congratulations to Emily McMurray our captain and Jennifer Skead our vice captain for their leadership this season. Additionally, we are extremely proud of Emily McMurray and Ava Davies for their selection to the Umgungundlovu team,an incredible achievement!
Well done to all our players for their hard work and dedication. We look forward to another exciting season of tennis in the third term.
