*Mandatory 50 Hours Training | Session 2026-27*

*Dear AV Pedagogues (Grades 1 to 12),*

CBSE has made *50 hours of training compulsory* for every teacher this session:

• *25 hours CBSE training* (booked on the CBSE portal)

• *25 hours inhouse training* (conducted in school)

*Registration for CBSE trainings will be done by our STNCs, Mr. Mohit and Mr. Sahil.* Please do not book or pay on your own.

*Mandatory 50 Hours Training: Session 2026-27

*For AV Pedagogues (Grades 1 to 12),*

CBSE has made 50 hours of training compulsory for every teacher this session. This also applies to the Principal, Vice Principal, STNCs, counsellors, and music and activity teachers.

1. The 50 hours are in two parts

• Part A: 25 hours of CBSE training, booked on the CBSE Training Portal

• Part B: 25 hours of inhouse training, conducted in school

The two parts are separate. Hours from one cannot be counted in the other.

2. Part A: 25 hours of CBSE training

Every teacher must attend these four programmes:

• Domain 1 (Core Values and Ethics): one generic programme, counted as 6 hours

• Domain 2 (Core Subject): one 2-day subject programme, counted as 12 hours

• Domain 2 (Generic): one generic programme such as Art Integration or Active Learning, counted as 4 hours

• Domain 3 (Professional Growth): one programme such as NEP 2020 or Happy Classrooms, counted as 3 hours

Only these hours are counted, even if the programme is longer. Extra hours are not added to inhouse training.

3. Part B: 25 hours of inhouse training

• Domain 1: 6 hours of sessions in school

• Domain 2: 8 hours of sessions in school (a CT&AI offline workshop counts as 6 hours, CT&AI ELD as 3 hours)

• Domain 3: 11 hours of school sessions or the activities below

Activities counted in Domain 3 (maximum 11 hours in total):

• Board evaluation or re-evaluation duty: up to 6 hours

• CNS duty given by the Regional Office: up to 6 hours

• Other CBSE trainings or orientations: 6 hours

• Sample paper, marking scheme, question bank or practical examiner work for CBSE: 3 hours

• Resource Person for CBSE programmes: 3 hours

• PM e-Vidya, DIKSHA, NISHTHA or Eklavya online sessions: up to 3 hours

• CBSE national conferences: 3 hours

• Research projects, mentoring teachers, blogs or paper publication: 2 hours

• Integrating technology into teaching: 2 hours

Centre Superintendent and observer duty are not counted.

4. How the school will help you

• Registration for all CBSE trainings will be done by our STNCs, Mr. Mohit and Mr. Sahil. Please do not book or pay on your own.

• The school will organise the inhouse sessions and share the dates.

• Share your subject and preferred dates with the STNCs when asked.

5. Rules to remember

• No refund or change for a wrong booking, double payment or absence.

• If you cannot attend, inform the STNCs early. A replacement is possible only before 7 AM on the training day.

• Attend all sessions fully, or no certificate is issued.

• Generate your certificate from the CBSE Training Portal 7 days after the training, after submitting feedback.

• Give a copy of every certificate to the STNCs.

• Keep proof of all duties, such as appointment and duty letters.

6. School Training Nodal Coordinators (STNC)

The STNCs must also complete the same 50 hours. Their responsibilities:

• Plan the school training calendar with the Principal

• Register teachers for CBSE trainings

• Coordinate with the CBSE Centre of Excellence

• Keep training records of every teacher

• Monitor attendance and progress

• Manage certificates, venues and other arrangements

7. Health and Wellness Ambassadors (HWA)

• Both must attend the 2-day School Health and Wellness programme of CBSE (counted as 6 hours in Domain 1).
  
  

• They must also complete the full 50 hours like all teachers.
  
  

• They lead the school's health and wellness activities and help prepare the activity report for CBSE.
  
  

Please cooperate with the STNCs so that everyone completes the 50 hours on time.
