is a matter of following the Cbse guidelines and carrying a variety of the Questions under CFQ (Competency Focused Questions),
SA(Small Answer) VSA(Very Small Answer) MCQ) , True False, Matching with lines, Map Analysis etc.
Marking Scheme
(UT-2, 80 Marks, 3 Hours)
Part A: Objective Assessment (45 Marks, 90 minutes)
§ MCQ (Conceptual & Factual): 14 Marks – 7 Questions (2 marks each). Time: 30 minutes (3 minutes per question). This allows sufficient time for reading, understanding, and selecting the answer.
§ True/False: 5 Marks – 5 Questions (1 mark each). Time: 10 minutes (2 minutes per question). T/F questions are generally quick to answer.
§ Fill-ups: 5 Marks – 5 Questions (1 mark each). Time: 10 minutes (2 minutes per question).
§ Matching: 5 Marks – 5 sets of matching (1 mark each set). Time: 15 minutes (3 minutes per matching set). Matching can sometimes require a bit more thinking, especially if the options are similar.
§ Very Short Answer (One Word/Phrase): 15 Marks – 15 Questions (1 mark each). Time: 25 minutes (Approximately 1.5-2 minutes per question).
