THE TAX CYCLE
Like the seasons, taxes have a yearly schedule, and you’ll want to stay on top of the due dates. Because taxes are filed after the calendar year ends, some dates occur the year after the actual year you are filing for. Complete the Google Form by matching the correct dates with the tax event.
Dates above the dark dividing line are during the calendar year you are filing taxes for
-If you are filing your taxes for 2022, these dates are during 2022.
Dates below the dark dividing line take place the year AFTER the year you are filing for
-If you are filing your taxes for 2022, these dates are during 2023.
Use the internet to determine the date of each of these events in the tax cycle. If there are any terms in this schedule you are unfamiliar with, consult our Taxes Glossary.
