In this topic, we discuss the movement towards righting some of the wrongs of the Imperialist Age. From 1900 to the present there has been a constant increase in global economics, global transportation & communication transformed the process of modernization but not all were equal and good. There was still global devastation from war, human rights abuses, and rampant inequality. But for the first time, there will be challenges to long-held assumptions about race, class, gender, religion, and the egalitarianism of capitalism (like the World Bank or the United Nations, or UNICEF). Efforts will be established through international organizations to safeguard human rights, create educational and professional opportunities for more people & injecting more political participation for some who had previously been excluded people sought freedom and liberation from the ‘continued bondage’, in Nelson Mandela's terms, that kept them in poverty. People around the globe also began to protest the inequalities and environmental damage that globalization had created or reinforced.
