Join us as we discuss reasons for joint replacement and then on advances in implant materials including 3-D printing, modularity, and plastics. We’ll look at robotics in joint replacement surgery, discussing how it impacts both planning and execution of the actual operation. We’ll also see how implant selection relates to implant longevity and avoiding revision surgery.

Dr. S. Bradley Daines specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He completed his fellowship training at the Hospital for Special Surgery, the number one orthopedic hospital in the United States. His practice emphasizes rapid recovery and many of his surgeries are performed as outpatient procedures. As the highest volume robotic joint replacement surgeon in Southwest Idaho, he performs total knee, total hip, and partial knee replacements using the MAKO robot. He utilizes the latest innovations and technology to help ensure the highest quality of care possible.

Dr. Daines is a Boise native and loves working and living in his hometown.
