About the Presenters

Leandra Aburusa is the Student Support Coordinator for the College of Engineering. She has a B.S. in Human Resource Management from the University of Idaho. She has worked for the College of Engineering since 1995. Leandra can be contacted for information about the College of Engineering programs, assistance with job searching, resume and cover letter writing, providing tours for prospective students, coordinating K-12 outreach events, and provides general support and assistance to all students.

Alex Gutierrez is Associate Director of the Boise State Career Center. He has a Master of Arts in Education in Counseling emphasizing Student Personnel and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Supervision. He enjoys helping students find their passion, establish goals and achieve their vision, and believes when you identify your passion, your career plans will fall into place. He can help you assess your values, interest and abilities to provide insight to career options and also help you develop job search skills.
