About the Panelists

Sarah Haight, BSME '06

Following her undergraduate program at Boise State, Sarah pursued her Masters while working for General Motors. She began working part-time for Rekluse while a faculty member at Boise State running the Mechanical Engineering Senior Design Program. Eventually she joined them as a full employee, rising quickly to become their Engineering Manager. Now a senior mechanical engineer for Versabuilt Robotics, she serves on the MBE Industrial Advisory Board.

Nate Haro, BSME '04

For the last several years I have been the lead mechanical engineer at PKG where we create user interfaces for various types of custom equipment. I have also had experience in large equipment design, locomotives and semi-truck trailers, but have mainly focused on product design. I was also a trainer and performed support for a SolidWorks retailer, Was a self-employed design engineer. On the side, I dabble in automotive work, minor robotic projects, and other skills such as casting and vacuuming forming.

Matt Lavigne, BSME '14

I have had the opportunity to be exposed to many technical industries as an engineer from design, testing, and manufacturing. I am always striving to grow and develop in areas in which I am not particularly strong. For this reason I am back in graduate school (BSU) pursuing an MBA, to develop that which is never taught in engineering school.

Alan Russell, BSME '00, MSME '09

Alan earned both his Bachelors and Masters degrees at Boise State and is currently a Senior Performance Engineer at Clēnera Renewable Energy.
