About the Panelists

Bart Heinz, Director of Engineering & Operations, MotivePower

Bart went to college at Kansas State University and graduated with a BSME. Bart has done design, analysis, test and project management work for Cessna Aircraft (dynamic seat testing), Pella Windows (insulating glass), Bombardier Aerospace (Flight Test Center) and MotivePower (locomotives). Bart and his family moved from Wichita, KS to Boise, ID in the Spring of 2016.

Tiffany McGee, College Recruiter & Internship Coordinator, POWER Engineers

Tiffany is a College Recruiter at POWER Engineers, Inc.; a global consulting engineering firm specializing in the delivery of integrated solutions for energy, food and beverage facilities, environmental and federal markets. Tiffany has been with POWER for 19 years and has enjoyed working in a variety of roles interfacing with nearly every division of the company. Before her role as a college recruiter, Tiffany spent six years as POWER’s Training Administrator where she managed the company’s training and development function, vetted and implemented a learning management system, designed and developed e-learning modules, and worked with senior management on company-wide training initiatives. Tiffany also spent 8 years as a Project Staff Assistant and has supported some of POWER’s largest geothermal power plant projects.

Tyler Marines, Mechanical Engineer, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories

Tyler graduated from the University of Idaho in 2014 and has been a working professional since then. He has experience in research and design as well as in manufacturing engineering. Tyler recently moved to Boise and works for Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories which specializes in electrical grid protection equipment. As an ME there he focuses on electronics packaging, PCB thermal management, and electromagnetic radiation control.

Aaron Lewer, Mechanical Engineer, Vanmark Equipment

Aaron Lewer has designed equipment for laboratory automation and industrial food processing industries. His professional interests include 3D parametric CAD, design automation, design for manufacturability, CFD, and CAD/CAM integration.
