Professional Learning

Campus principals assign a Professional Learning Administrator Contact in order to streamline support, communication, and collaboration for a stronger culture of support, community, and retention. The Professional Learning Campus Administrator Contact should be a principal or assistant principal and collaborates with the Professional Learning Department on the following key areas:


Campus Based Staff Development Days

Campus principals and PL Campus Admin. Contacts work collaboratively to determine a scope and sequence for their campus staff on district calendared staff development days. The Professional Learning team provides support and resources to campuses.


Additional Professional Learning and the Human Capital Platform (HCP)

HCP is available to all staff in the AISD Portal. Staff are automatically enrolled in annual required trainings in HCP and navigate to HCP to complete requirements. Additional in person and online course offerings are available in HCP to all staff members in order to meet PLED requirements and additional personalized learning based on need.
