Campus Climate Surveys

In 2022, AISD moved to Panaroma for climate surveys. It is recommended that school administrators use their personal Panorama accounts to view reports for their schools, as this will grant access to certain features not included in the public view. The public view link shows AISD schools compared to other schools nationally.

  • Teachers & Staff Survey - The purpose of the AISD Campus Staff survey is to measure aspects of school climate including general climate, district vision, leadership, teacher data use, instructional practice, professional development opportunities, community support and engagement, achievement press, student conduct, and facilities and resources. The survey is administered annually to all campus staff employed at least half time. The data collected through the survey is used to monitor working conditions by school level and campus, in the district strategic plan scorecard, and as an outcome measure for many district programs and initiatives.

  • Student Experience Survey - The AISD Student Climate Survey captures students’ opinions about classroom engagement, behavioral environment, academic persistence, adult relationships, safety, respect, personal development skills, student voice, and college intentions. The survey is used to monitor a variety of key initiatives, policies, programs, and grants. Results also are used to examine factors related to campus climate, student achievement, and teacher success.

  • Family Members Survey - The survey is an important tool to gather feedback about parent and guardians' attitudes on numerous topics (e.g., parent and guardian involvement, customer service) at the campus where their child is enrolled. Results are used in the superintendent's scorecard, campus improvement plans, and as an outcome measure for many district programs and initiatives.
