Safety Drills/Campus Emergency Operations Plan

Each facility safety team is responsible for developing and submitting by September 1st of each year the facility’s Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) to the District chief of police. All plans are required to contain detailed procedures on four response actions and two recovery actions. The response actions are evacuations, reverse evacuations, lockdowns, and shelter-in-place. The recovery actions are relocation and reunification. For assistance developing these actions, contact the District’s Emergency Management Bureau at emergency.management@austinisd.org. Visitor Management System

Information about setting campus systems for visitors can be found through the board policy on visitors. The front office staff should all be trained in the use of the Raptor system for campus visitors.
