ASFG class lists for early childhood, elementary, and middle school are created by the section teachers and administrators and the admissions director taking into consideration the following criteria:
Parents may request special consideration for a learning, social or emotional need for their child in writing, addressed to the section principal, in April and May. Administrators will strive to take into consideration these requests. However, because of the many indicators that are taken into consideration for each group, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be honored.
In high school, schedules are created according to the classes offered and credits needed by each individual student to meet grade level requirements and overall graduation requirements. Students are asked to fill out a course request form each spring for the following school year. Changes in class schedules can be made during the first two weeks of classes if space allows.
Once published, ASFG class lists cannot be altered except when deemed necessary by an ASFG administrator in order to maintain or improve classroom distribution for the benefit of all students.
