G.O.A.T.
Greatest Of All Time
Greatest Of All Time
This word originated a while ago during the time of great boxer Muhmmad Ali. “The term was originally used as an initialism for legendary boxer Muhammad Ali when his wife Lonnie set up G.O.A.T. Inc. in 1992. Beyond that, sportswriters have been referring to the best players as the greatest of all time as far back as 1924” I think the context where this phrase has been used as it seems from its origin, this word is mostly used for athletes and musicians and someone who really deserves it. Not many people can claim to be the G.O.A.T., but those who can are the Greatest Of All Time in their field. Most often, the acronym G.O.A.T. praises exceptional athletes but also musicians and other public figures. People use this acronym to admire people and show them how great they are. The word GOAT is never used in a negative way but only when you really think someone deserves it.
When you are calling someone Greatest of All Time, it means that person has done some great things and is a hero in your vision. I think My English professor Dawna DeMartini is a GOAT because she has always been a real person who understands the problems of others and has always been a helper in times of needs and troubles. I think society should use this word to admire the ones who actually are GOAT and need to be called with such words. It is more of a social media term as I have seen it so far, but I wish to see it more in public places and real life and not just in screens.
