Often accompanied with terminology such as skibidi, mog, rizz, looksmaxer, psl, htn, ltn, htb etc. The formal definition for the word is, "A slang term that refers to the negative effects of consuming low-quality or excessive internet content." The form of brainrot content that I am most familiar with is the "looksmaxing community." The "looksmaxers," as they are called, are a community of people who are dedicated to improving their looks. They have different subgroups such as the "blackpillers" who believe that "it's over" if their looks aren't comparable to supermodels. They categorize people based on their looks with words such as HTC (High-tier Stacy, with the name Stacy being associated with good looks) or LTB (Low-Tier Becky with the name Becky being associated to people with bad looks). Another group of brain rotters are "the Save Europe Kids." They make short from content where they play a clip of a minority group committing a crime or behaving abnormally. They then accompany the clip with high energy music and ignorant phrases/acronyms like "Well, well, well."
