Salty
an expression of bitterness
an expression of bitterness
According to Arianna Jeret, deputy editor at Your Tango, the term “salty” describes “bitterness or anger tinged with a little extra spice, usually a mocking or self-deprecating note of sourness.”
Example:
Eli: "Hey Frank, what grade did you get in DeMartini's 302?"
Frank: "I got an A, what about you?
Eli: "I don't care. She only gives out A's to total idiots."
Frank: "Ohhhh someone's salty."
