Key Stage 4

76% achieved a standard pass in English and maths (grade 4 or above)

48% achieved a strong pass in English and maths (grade 5 or above)

83% of students achieved a standard pass or better in English

81% of students achieved a standard pass or better in maths

The percentage of pupils staying in education or employment for at least 2 terms after key stage 4 is 98.3%

A Level Results Summer 2019

Bucking the national trend, results improved upon last year’s already outstanding outcomes with a phenomenal 14 students gaining 3 or more A* and A grades and an overall A*-B pass rate of more than 55%, meaning that this year’s cohort have gained the best set of results the comprehensive school has ever seen. This was an exceptionally hard working year group who deserved to do well and, thanks to the outstanding support of their teachers, they have done just that. To have two students go on to Cambridge, one to medical school and one to Veterinary College is incredible! Congratulations everyone!
