Admission Arrangements
Academies Enterprise Trust is the admissions authority for Greensward Academy. AET Admissions Guidance is available here. Applications for places at the academy will be made in accordance with Essex Local Authority’s coordinated admission arrangements. They will be made on the Common Application Form and administered by the applicant’s home Local Authority.
The secondary school admission round for parents to apply for a secondary school (Year 7) place for September 2024 opens on 12 September 2023. The statutory national closing date for applications is 31 October 2023. Failure to submit applications by the deadline can result in a child not gaining a place.
Applications can be made on line via http://www.essex.gov.uk/admissions. Essex local authority do not send letters to parents about making an application. All of the application information is available on their website.
Our Open Evening for parents of prospective students is on thursday 6 October, 6.00-8.00pm.
