After two years of not having a live Chizzle Wizzle show due to COVID-19, performers and crew took to the stage and were back in the spotlight.

Senior Casey Mills said that lifting most of the restrictions on the Chizzle Wizzle this year was key to the performance key to the performance.

“I think everyone would agree that being able to do the show in-person with little restrictions was key to its success,” said Mills.

Having students perform on the stage was one of the first times life started to feel “normal again…” students said.

“It’s said a lot but it was something that actually felt normal again, after the pandemic that felt like it would never end; not having to wear masks and not having a thousand restrictions was such a good feeling," said Avery Theriault, a junior. "It also felt like one of the first times (since covid) that the entire school was able to come together again and just participate in something that brought us all together and where we were all able to just have fun!”

Kristen Merrill, a junior, said there was a notable change in environment and energy now that the performers and crew were live and on stage again.

“The backstage process made the show feel more real and kept my energy up since I had to run costumes, props, mics, etc. around backstage. On stage, everything is better under the lights. ...It’s fun seeing how our own school environment can have such a shift in energy on Chizzle Wizzle nights."

Producer, Ms. Morin said, “ I was very proud of how the show came together this year, I told the cast and crew how much fun it was getting to know them and I am really looking forward to the show's future.”
