CONY RAMS BEAT BREWER IN FIRST PLAYOFF MATCH

The first playoff game of the season started off with a major bang.

Cony High School football defeated Brewer, 41-6, on Fuller Field. The team celebrated their win and for breaking its "curse" of losing the first game of the playoffs, which has plagued the school in recent years.

Students and fans filled the stands on Oct. 29 dressed in pink to show support for breast cancer awareness month.

The Rams will play Lawrence at 7 p.m. on Friday in the semi-final match of the MPA Football Championships.
