Hoodie Ban
Hark! Attend thine ears to the discourse of our learned halls, where the donning of hoods hath raised much strife. Forsooth, the wearing of such garments doth shroud the visage, rendering it obscured from the watchful gaze of our guardians. In times when shadows lurk and mischief doth abound, it is but wise to permit clarity and open countenance, lest nefarious deeds be hidden beneath the fabric. The essence of our noble institution is rooted in safety and trust, and thus we must banish the veil that doth invite suspicion.
Moreover, dear scholars, consider the nature of camaraderie and community that flourishes in the light of day. When faces are veiled, how can friendships blossom and the bonds of fellowship strengthen? The very fabric of our society is woven through the connections we share, and each countenance tells a tale. Therefore, let us not cloak ourselves in obscurity, but rather embrace the brilliance of our unique selves, so that we may walk together in harmony and safeguard our realm of learning.
Phone Ban
Oh, goodly scholars, harken to my plea, In this most sacred realm of learning's grace,
The usage of phones we must decree, as a hindrance to our minds, a foul disgrace. When thine eyes fix upon that radiant glow, the treasures of wisdom slip through thy fingers, For idle whims and trifles steal the show. In such folly, true understanding lingers. In the classroom, where spirits should take flight, The siren’s call of distraction doth ensnare, thus, discourse’s art finds not its proper light, As thoughts are lost in the vapid, wandering glare. Let not the glow of screens eclipse thy quest; Embrace instead the joy of learning’s embrace, For in the bonds of knowledge, we are blessed, And wisdom’s light shall guide us in this place.
