Bring a glass and torch to work on shaded drawing. Consider dark, middle and light tones. If you shade the background you will be able to assess the tones on the objects.

Develop a 3-D drawing from your shadow drawings using straws.
Homework: produce a 1 minute film of your shadows. You cannot show the cup and you must add sound. Think on how to make the shadow more interesting by adding movement to the water in the jar/ glass.
