This is the second Ferris wheel to operate at Waldameer, and it certainly is a large step up from the original Ferris wheel. It is referred to as "Giant Wheel" and "Giant Gondola Wheel" in some ride signage. It possesses 6,000 ten-watt incandescent lightbulbs along its exterior, which are controlled by a computer to create interesting lighting effects at night. The ride does not feature any restraints. It has 20 rider gondolas. The ride is located in the westernmost portion of Kiddieland.
An information plaque located in the ride's queue claims that the ride is "the largest trailer-mounted gondola wheel in the world, and can be erected without the use of cranes in one working day."
