Flying Coaster, referred to by park guests as "The Bump", is one of the most fondly-remembered defunct rides at Waldameer. It opened in 1962, and operated until 1994. It was replaced by Wipeout in 1995. It remained in storage for a few years, and was eventually scrapped after no buyers were found.
Flying Coaster rides consist of several passenger cars which travel along a track that ends in a ramp. The cars bounce off the ramp and return to the ground, delivering a strong pop of airtime while doing so.
