Whacky Shack opened in 1970, and was designed by Bill Tracy. It is one of only eight of his rides left in existence, and is the last of his Whacky Shack rides in existence. It features many iconic scenes throughout its layout, including diminishing doors, a giant rat, many skulls and skeletons, and more.
The majority of the ride's facade and inner stunts are well-maintained and untouched from the original Bill Tracy design. OCHH has a good article on the history of the ride, detailing exactly which parts are and aren't original to the ride.
It features several cars that can seat two passengers (sometimes three), with a small lap bar. The ride is located across from the large concession stand in the middle of the park.
