During the period of time in which Waldameer's 1905 carousel operated in the building that is now Merry-Go-Round Grove, a fleet of bumper cars operated in the unused former carousel building. When the carousel was moved back into its original building, a new building was constructed to house them. In 1973, the current-day Dodgems building was built, and the cars currently used on the ride were purchased in 1997. In total, I believe four different fleets of cars have operated at Waldameer, and they have been housed in three different buildings.
